Finally finished painting this sign for Granny Yoshiko at her apartment. At the bottom is hiragana, spelling out "okaerinasai", which means "welcome home" in Japanese. It's a common response when someone in the household comes home and says "tadaima", which means "I'm home". My three years of taking Japanese language in high school is finally paying off.
